BILL Hull Car Centre's new charity initiative has given their customers the chance to donate to South Burnett (SB) Care this year.
Bill Hull's dealer principal Jacueline Trace said the idea came around after having customers ask for a way to give back to the community.
"We brought this around in July last year,” Ms Trace said.
"Our customers were pushing for us to do something. So now whenever someone buys a car we donate $100 to a charity of the buyers choice.
"Since we started this we've given away about $1200.”
The dealership recently handed over a total of $300 to SB Care.
This was three separate $100 donations.
"We have recently started creating a wall display of the charities,” Ms Trace said.
"It's unlimited really. As long as you donate to a local club or charity.
"Hopefully though it will give car buyers ideas and continue to grow as more donations are made.”
Ms Trace said she is doing this to support the South Burnett community.
"We want to try and keep business local,” Ms Trace said.
"This is really good for that and gets the community involved with locals.”
