Mother, child hospitalised after two car crash in Gayndah

A woman and her child have been hospitalised after a crash on a busy road in the North Burnett on Friday afternoon.

A woman and her child were hospitalised after a crash on a busy road in the North Burnett Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the two vehicle crash at the intersection of Capper Street and Warton St in Gayndah around 12.45pm on Friday, July 4.

Paramedics assessed three patients at the scene, with one patient declining transport to hospital.

A woman and her child were taken to Gayndah Hospital in stable condition.

A police spokesman said there was only minor damage visible to both vehicles.

Traffic was impacted, but the road remained open.
