The Murgon Music Muster is back for a fun-filled week of music, art, poetry, community and food for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Muster is hosted by the Rotary Club of Murgon at the Murgon Showgrounds from November 2 to 6.
The event boasts Aria award-winning and nominated artists including renowned country singer-songwriters Adam Harvey, Felicity Urquhart and Amber Lawrence.
The 2022 instalment will be the 10th music muster.
Event co-chairman and Rotary Club of Murgon Health president Heath Sander said the event would also raise money for the Murgon Hospital Auxiliary.
“There is talk of raising funds for a motorised stretcher for people needing to fly to hospital,” Mr Sander said.
“Blue care and RACQ Life Flight are also the organisations we are raising money for.”
In 2019 the Murgon Music Muster raised $16,000 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, RACQ Life Flight Rescue and Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.
Mr Sander said walk-up artists who would like to play with other musicians are welcome to attend from Tuesday November 1.
“The Muster will officially begin at 1pm on Friday the 4th where former president Bruce Bishop will play,” he said.
This is an indoor event and facilities include; powered and unpowered camping sites, hot showers and a caravan dump point.
