A new addition to the Times team

HELLO South Burnett Times readers.

I have joined the South Burnett Times team as a journalist.

This is my first journalism job and I am very excited.

I am 20-years-old and originally from Condamine.

I have spent the past three years living in Brisbane where I have been studying a Bachelor of Journalism at The University of Queensland.

I am still studying and will hopefully graduate sometime this year.

I moved to Kingaroy last week and am enjoying the regional community atmosphere.

I moved here knowing no one and am looking forward to meeting community members.

So if you see me out and about please feel free to come on over and introduce yourself. I'd love a chat.

I have also done a lot of hospitality work and love talking to people.

I'm a bit of a nerd and a big Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, and British TV fan.

I love news and pop culture and spend most of my time either watching television or reading.

I look forward to meeting many of you and being your voice in the Times.
