TOUCH FOOTBALL: A well-attended season of social touch football culminated in four grand-final games on Monday night, with the women's and men's teams from both the A-grade and B-grade hitting the fields.
Finalists in the B-grade were up first, the ladies of Rack Attack and Strugglers going head to head, while the Pink Panthers and Bush Turkeys played for the Men's B title.
Finishing with a score of 7-2, the Pink Panthers emerged victorious over the Turkeys.
Consistent defence from both teams on the women's field kept scores level for most of the game, but Rack Attack was able to push ahead in a 4-2 win.
Wii Not Fit and Hot To Touch played a fast-paced and high-scoring game, with the latter dominating the field in both attack and defence.
Only letting their rivals past the line for one try, Hot To Touch set fire to the field, winning their A-grade match 10-1.
The last match of the finals was between men's A-grade teams the Milton Mangoes and Roma State College.
Turning the social game into a highly competitive sport, both teams left nothing in the tank, putting everything on the line for their last hurrah.
The young guns from RSC ended up defeating their rivals 7-2.
