Two teenage boys have been charged with a slew of offences after an alleged robbery at a Roma home.
Roma police allege the two boys, aged 16 and 17, broke into a Mayne St address at about 4am on November 24.
There was allegedly a “scuffle” with the 18-year-old occupant and property was stolen.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the young men were arrested as a result of two search warrants executed at a Roma address.
The two young men were charged with one count each of robbery, attempt to enter premises with intent, stealing, possession of dangerous drugs, and enter dwelling with intent, and are set to appear in Roma Childrens Court on December 18.
Officer in Charge of Roma police station, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank called the offending “unacceptable.”
“The Roma police team have acted swiftly to apprehend and prosecute those responsible,” senior sergeant Frank said.
