A teenager will face court on a serious charge after allegedly assaulting another boy in a remote western Queensland town.

A young teenager will face court after a vicious attack on another boy in a remote western Queensland town.

A 15-year-old Cunnamulla boy has been charged after a physical altercation broke out at an address on Alice Street in Cunnamulla on September 30.

As a result of the incident, another boy allegedly sustained injuries.

The boy has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

He is due to appear in the Cunnamulla Children’s Court at a later date.
