In order to inspire the local business community to have a shared vision and united voice to tackle tough times, Roma’s top business and tourism organisation has organised a prominent businessman to meet with local business owners.

Roma Commerce and Tourism Inc (RCAT) is dedicated to ensuring community and economic development resources in the region are well allocated to ensure genuine and sustainable business growth.

RCAT is in placed to represent and advance the interests of the business community, tourism, industry and commerce to support a sustainable local economy.

“Roma is a great place to live, work, play, visit and do business,” president Charlie Eames said.

“This is one of RCAT’s focus and through investigating liveability issues and barriers we hope to assist all businesses and the community at large.

“Experience tells us that regional towns that do well always have a shared vision with short, medium and long-term goals all working towards a strong, diverse and sustainable future.

“RCAT’s newly released strategic plan addresses this with its top five goals for 2021-2026.”

RCAT will launch the new organisation to the business community, inviting guest speaker Tom Potter, the founder of Eagle Boys Pizza to inspire business owners with his no nonsense approach and assist businesses to cut through the clutter to achieve high results at all levels.

“It is a great privilege to welcome one of Australia’s most outstanding retailer, entrepreneur and inspirational leader to Roma for the RCAT Launch,” Mr Eames said.

“This is a perfect opportunity for RCAT members to collaborate and reconnect after the economic and social impacts that everyone has endured during the last eighteen months.”

RCAT is a not-for-profit membership organisation encompassing the commerce and industry of Roma which includes retail, tourism, resources, agriculture, professional and government services.
