Emergency services have responded to reports of a train and car collision at a railway crossing near Roma that has left one person injured.

Emergency services have responded after a train and a vehicle collided near Roma.

Two fire crews rushed to the scene on Hodgson Lane near Mount Abundance, about 12.43pm on Monday, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.

Police arrived on scene just after 1pm, and initial reports indicated the collision was not too serious, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.

A woman in her 20s, the driver of the vehicle, was assessed by paramedics for head, back and arm pain, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

The woman was taken to Roma Hospital in stable condition.

A Queensland Rail spokeswoman confirmed a train hit the back of a vehicle at about 12.40pm at the rail crossing at Mount Abundance on Hodgson Lane.

The train crew was uninjured, and the collision will not impact train traffic, as there were no other freight or passenger services scheduled on the line on Monday.
