Rodeo: Tooloombilla Rodeo and Campdraft executives have presented the Royal Flying Doctor Service with $20,000 following their fundraising efforts at the rodeo, spring draft and other catering over the past year.

On Sunday, June 24, the RFDS met at the Tooloombilla Homestead for a social gathering to accept the cheque, following a RFDS meeting in Charleville.

The social stop over included 10 board members from the RFDS who enjoyed a luncheon in the Tooloombilla garden.

Committee president Tom Hartley presented the cheque to RFDS board CEO Nino Di Marco and chairman Mark Gray.

The Tooloombilla Rodeo Committee was also able to donate $5000 to the Injune and Mitchell ambulance services.

The Tooloombilla Rodeo Committee has been committed to fundraising in the area for many years and the committee said it was an opportunity to say thank you to the RFDS for their continued financial support of the rodeo committee.

The next event Tooloombilla will be catering for will be at the car rally day on the August 15 and then the Tooloombilla spring draft, which is scheduled for September 29-30.
