Rugby Races
EVERYONE is invited to make their way to Bassett Park this weekend for a day of quality racing and rugby at the 2018 Rugby Races.
The day promises sporting action, with racing and ladies' sevens rugby run throughout the day.
C grade play will kick-off at 3.15pm and the A grade battle between the Echidnas and the Condamine Cods will start at 5pm.
Lots of prizes, food and fun makes this the place to be seen this weekend.

Paint the town purple
IF YOU have taken a stroll through town, you may have noticed a hint of purple.
This week was Paint the Town Purple Week, celebrating the launch of Roma's Relay For Life.
Cancer council volunteers will be holding a bake sale for the judging of this year's purple shop fronts on Saturday.
Make your way to McDowell to enjoy some delicious baked goods and gaze at the best purple decorations.

Cities home game
THE Cities will be taking on the Miles Devils on Sunday.
The under 16 game will kick-off at noon, with all invited to come and support their home sides.
A grade kick-off is 3pm, with the rep game following.

State of Origin
IT'S time for the awaited game two of the State of Origin series, and there is no better way to support your side than with friends and a cold brew.
