A little boy has been confirmed dead after sustaining critical head injuries in a truck and car crash on the major Maranoa route, with another three people taken to hospital.

A six-year-old Roma boy has been killed and another three people injured after a horror truck and car collision near Injune.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of the Carnarvon Highway and Fairview Rd at 2.14am on Thursday, where a car had rolled after colliding with a truck.
A six-year-old boy was assessed for critical head injuries, but sadly died at the scene.
The 33-year-old Roma man driving the car and an 18-year-old female passenger sustained back and abdominal injuries.
They were both flown to Roma Airport then transported to Roma Hospital in stable conditions.
The 59-year-old truck driver from Brassall was also taken to hospital.
Police closed the Carnarvon Highway in both directions for hours following the crash.
Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to come forward.
