A man aged in his 20s has been killed and another two men left injured in a horror crash near St George overnight.
Police say a car was travelling north on the Carnarvon Highway at about 2.30am on Monday when it collided with a kangaroo before striking a tree.
A 27-year-old male passenger died at the scene.
The male driver and another male passenger were transported to St George Hospital with minor injuries. The kangaroo also died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
