Motorcyclist may hold key as two in crash fight for life
Two people continue to fight for their lives in hospital after a crash that saw the other driver charged with a string of offences after allegedly leaving the scene. Now police have launched a fresh appeal for information

Police believe a motorcyclist may hold the key to a serious traffic crash which left two people fighting for life after another driver fled the scene.
Two people were seriously injured in the two-vehicle crash at Bouldercombe, south of Rockhampton, on Monday morning about 7.20am.
The driver of the Mazda, a 73-year-old Mount Morgan man, and the passenger, a 70-year-old Mount Morgan woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and were rushed to Rockhampton Hospital.
A spokeswoman for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service said on Tuesday the man and woman remained in critical conditions in Rockhampton Hospital.
A passenger in the Nissan, a 39-year-old Mount Morgan man, was taken to Rockhampton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, police said they had charged a 36-year-old Mount Morgan man, who was driving the Nissan Navara.
The man has been charged with two counts of driver fail to remain at scene, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving unlicensed, driving unregistered vehicle, driving uninsured vehicle, driving vehicle with false registration plates.
The man was refused police bail and is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 20.
Late Wednesday, police appealed for more information from the public.
They said a motorcyclist travelling nearby at the time of the incident stopped and assisted one of the people involved in the incident before leaving the scene.
Police are appealing to the motorcyclist, or anyone with information about the incident, to come forward.
Razorback Road was closed and traffic diverted through Mount Morgan Range until the road was reopened just after 1pm.
Witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, have been urged to contact police.
