Three separate crashes involving eight vehicles caused traffic delays in Rockhampton on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were first called to a two-vehicle crash on the Fitzroy River Bridge about 7.08am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 50s was taken to Rockhampton Hospital with back pain.
He was in a stable condition.
Then about 8.45am, emergency services crews were called to a three-vehicle crash on Gladstone Road, Allenstown, which is a main thoroughfare through Rockhampton City.
The QAS spokeswoman said there were no injuries to those involved in this incident.
The third crash, also involving three vehicles, happened on another busy morning stretch, Lakes Creek Road, on the city’s northside about 8.50am.
The QAS spokeswoman said there was minor damage to the vehicles in this crash and all occupants were out and assessed by paramedics on scene.
The spokeswoman said a child was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
“We just needed to make the one transport (to hospital) for that (crash),” the QAS spokeswoman said.
