St Brendan’s are flying high in the Dolphins Cup, and made short work of a spirited Bundaberg State High.
The Dolphins Cup juggernaut, who were Phil Hall Cup finallists last year, have gone from strength to strength this season.
They were almost unstoppable on Tuesday afternoon as they ran in a comprehensive 76-0 scoreline against Bundaberg.

St Brendan’s, who finished third in the Confraternity Shield earlier this month, proved the true depth of their squad after coach Scott Minto opted to rest some of his bigger names.

St Brendan’s College will be looking to make it three from three in the Dolphins Cup when they play their first home game on Tuesday.
Fresh from their third-placed finish in the Confraternity Carnival, they will tackle Bundaberg State High at 4pm.

St Brendan’s coach Scott Minto said Tuesday’s team would look a little different to the one that played at Confraternity.
“The boys are keen to be back playing footy,” he said.
“We’ll take the chance to rest a few players today. The depth in our squad is really good so I’m confident in what they can all do.”
