The Central Queensland region is the place to be at the moment with houses selling for millions.

From vast views to homes right on the water, there are little pockets of luxury around the region wherever you look.

Here are some of the most expensive homes in the region and who owns them.

46 Corberry St, The Range

Selling in February last year, 46 Corberry St is just one of Rockhampton’s classic 1920s Queenslanders with views of the city.

The property has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, with parking space for five vehicles.

The newly renovated home has large verandahs, with the lower level almost a completely separate home.

The house sold in March last year for $1.03m to the Connor and Finch families.

33 Banksia Place, Taranganba

A three-storey home on the coast sold for more than $2million in October last year.

Boasting 180 degree views, including views of the ocean, the home is also the perfect entertainer with two guest bedrooms and a pool deck.

The lower level is completely self-contained and fitted out with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedroom, and wine cellar.

The property sold for $2.2 million and was purchased by the Fernie family.

The back patio has a seven-person spa, with established and irrigated gardens and fruit trees.

It was purchased in July 2020 by the Simmons family.

50 Agnes St, The Range

Another property with a pool and tennis court, 50 Agnes St is located in a prime area close to hospitals, schools and shops.

Selling for $1.795 million in March 2019, the property is another example of the beautiful architecture from the 1800 and 1900s.

One of the villa’s four bedrooms has its own balcony.

The property also has three bathrooms.

It was purchased by a couple from Shoalhaven.

341 Agnes St, The Range

Another property in the popular suburb of The Range fetched over $1m when it sold in 2019.

It’s country living by the beach, and sold for almost $3m when it was auctioned in 2020.

Sitting atop a hill in the popular Farnborough area of Yeppoon, number 929 hit the market with a lot of potential for the buyer.

Mostly constructed, the property only required the buyers to put on the finishing touches when it went to auction.
