Rockhampton crash: Car crash reported at Clifton and Ford Streets, Berserker

Five people have been taken to hospital after a car crash at an intersection in North Rockhampton. Here’s what we know.

Five people have been transported to Rockhampton Hospital in stable conditions after a car crash at an intersection in North Rockhampton on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Clifton and Ford Streets, Berserker at 12.19pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said five people were being assessed by paramedics with two people encapsulated in their vehicles.

The spokesman said there were no reports of any life threatening injuries at this time.

Initial reports suggested one of the persons trapped in their vehicle was “struggling to breath” and went into arrest before reportedly being able to breathe again.

It is understood critical care paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
