A woman tragically died after a reported truck and pedestrian incident just north of Rockhampton on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Stirling Drive and Yaamba Road, Parkhurst, just before 3pm.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the incident involved a truck and a pedestrian and that one crew was called to the scene to assist paramedics and police.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said the pedestrian, believed to be a woman aged in her 60s, suffered critical injuries and was not transported to hospital.
All southbound traffic was diverted along Angela Road to Stirling Drive.
Queensland Police Service was not able to provide further details on the incident.
