A man in his 50s is being treated in a Brisbane hospital after he suffered serious burns on a remote property in Central Queensland.

The RACQ CapRescue chopper flew to the rural locality of Arcturus, 200km southwest of Rockhampton, after the man was injured while conducting a controlled burn-off on Friday afternoon.
