Quad bike accident at Dingo, woman flown to Rockhampton Hospital

A woman was taken to hospital after a quad bike rollover west of Rockhampton, while another man was treated for a motorcycle incident on a property north of the city.

A woman on a property near Dingo was flown to hospital on Wednesday, following a quad bike accident, while more traffic crashes were reported in Rockhampton.

Paramedics were called to the incident just after 8am and the woman was treated for a suspected back injury.

The RACQ Capricorn Rescue service was later called in for assistance, and the crew left base around 10.30am.

The woman was flown to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on Yaamba Road and Rachel Drive, Parkhurst at 10pm on Wednesday.

Paramedics took three female patients to Rockhampton Base Hospital who were all in stable conditions.

Further north, a motorcycle incident was reported at a private property in Kunwarara around 7.30pm.

A man was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a stable condition for a suspected leg injury.

A snake bite to the hand was reported at a Koongal home around 7.40pm.

Paramedics treated the female in her 40s and she was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
