If you’ve ever dreamt of owning a piece of island paradise then now’s your chance, with six prime freehold beachfront allotments up for grabs on North Curtis Island.

Nestled on secluded Station Point Beach, the six allotments range from 6000–8000 sqm and are available to buy, with prices ranging from $595,000 to $795,000.

The blocks have attracted national interest, with two already sold.

Pat O’Driscoll Real Estate’s Doug Webber and Elders Real Estate’s Virgil Kenny have teamed up to jointly-market the allotments.

Mr Webber described the land on offer as a ‘one-in-a-million hideaway’.

“A lot of time with islands it’s very hard to get freehold land,” Mr Webber said.

“Whoever buys it, it’s your land.

“For anybody that wants to put a house on them, they can do that and you’re going to have your own piece of paradise on an island.

“North Curtis Island is a truly unique location, with something for everyone.

“Whether you’re a nature lover, a fishing enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, North Curtis Island is the perfect place to build your dream holiday home.”

Mr Webber said it was an opportunity to live off-grid with solar and bore water.

“Or you can put the house into management so you can cross out the times you want to be there and receive a good income,” he said.

“You can have it as an island stay or you can have it earning money for you.

“With the beaches and ocean, it is such a beautiful spot.”

The island carries a rich history with great significance to the Rockhampton region.

The Island once served as a pilot station circa 1864, and then as a quarantine station to Rockhampton.

Flinders Lookout, located on the northern point of the island, is said to be the point where Matthew Flinders stood to map out the Keppel Islands.

North Curtis Island is accessible by small plane, barge or private boat.

Upon arrival, formed gravel roads take you directly to each separate allotment.
