A woman was flown to hospital on Friday afternoon following a serious crash at Ogmore, about 150km north of Rockhampton.
Emergency crews were called to the incident on Styx Rd/Walangi St about 5.15pm where an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had rolled.
Initial reports suggested the woman, aged in her early 40s, had potentially been thrown from the vehicle and was being helped by someone at the scene.
Due to the rural nature of the incident, emergency services did not arrive on scene until after 5.45pm.
The RACQ CapRescue helicopter was also tasked to the scene.
Upon arrival, the RACQ CapRescue team met with Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics who were treating the woman for extensive lower arm injuries.
The Rescue 300 medical staff assessed and stabilised the woman and her injuries further before she was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious condition for further specialist care.
