A Rockhampton man has faced court after an alleged rampage of attempted armed robberies on Thursday where he is accused of threatening staff at a McDonalds store, a taxi driver, service station employees and then a police officer.

Police will allege Teej Lloyd Williams entered McDonalds in Gracemere around 5.40am on June 15 with a long-bladed weapon, understood to be a knife, and made demands for money.

Money was handed over by the store employee and Mr Williams allegedly fled in a 4WD.

Then, around 1pm, Mr Williams called for a taxi and allegedly threatened the driver and attempted to steal the vehicle but was unsuccessful.

At 1.30pm, police allege he drove the 4WD to the United Petroleum on Lower Dawson Rd, Allenstown and threatened staff with the knife.

Police attended the service station and Mr Williams then allegedly threatened a police officer with the knife before getting back in the 4WD and fleeing.

He then allegedly travelled towards Gracemere on the Capricorn Hwy before driving through a fence and into a paddock where his vehicle came to a stop.

Mr Williams was then taken into police custody and was charged with two counts each of armed robbery, attempted robbery, and enter premises with intent to commit, as well as one count each of serious assault police, dangerous operation of a vehicle and improper use of emergency call service.

Mr Williams’ matter was mentioned in Rockhampton Magistrates Court again on Tuesday (June 20) where no bail application was made.

He was remanded in custody to be mentioned again on August 16.
