Queensland fire crews are investigating a chemical incident involving a 30L drum south of Sapphire Central in Central Queensland.

Fire crews were called to the chemical hazard response at Graveshill Road just before 10am, with crews arriving at 10.30am.

Upon arrival, fire crews found a 30L drum with unknown chemicals inside, a Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said, adding the drum was intact and there is no immediate threat.
