Stolen car found on fire in Reaney St, Berserker near Caltex
Police are investigating after a ‘suspicious’ car fire outside a petrol station in North Rockhampton.

Emergency services attended a car fire last night in North Rockhampton outside a petrol station near a caravan park, now being treated as suspicious by police.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said two crews arrived at the Reaney Street, Berserker, scene about 9.35pm last night, January 25.
He said the car fire was well involved by the time the crews arrived.
The car was situated on the side of the road opposite the Caltex service station, near the entrance to the Riverside Tourist Park.
The spokesman said QFD left the scene in the hands of police just after 10pm.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police were treating the fire as suspicious as it involved a car reported stolen.
She said police received calls about the fire about 9.30pm.
The spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing.
The fire attracted attention from passing motorists and nearby residents with videos uploaded to Facebook crime groups.
It was the second car fire in the region this weekend with wild footage of a blaze emerged on social media on Friday night of the first car fire at the McDonalds carpark in Gracemere as shocked onlookers filmed the spectacle.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said crews were called to McLaughlin Street just after 8pm Friday.
The first car fire is not being treated as suspicious and the car was next to the drive-thru of the McDonalds store.
