A woman who was trapped in a car on a busy Rockhampton road after a single vehicle accident has been rushed to hospital in a stable condition.

Emergency services have rescued a woman trapped in a car following a single-vehicle accident during peak hour traffic on the Yeppoon-Rockhampton Rd in the Limestone Creek area on Monday morning.
The woman in her 50s did not sustain any serious injuries, but told paramedics she had lower back pain.
She was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said their crews used hydraulic rescue tools to free the woman from the vehicle.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they arrived on scene about 7.30am.
