A third man has faced court after drug raids in the small rural town of Monto in Central Queensland.

Ricky Kristian Walker, 46, pleaded guilty in Biloela Magistrates Court on January 25 to possessing cannabis and a drug utensil.

Police prosecutor Jennifer Leach said police executed a search warrant at a Monto residence on December 12 last year.

Ms Leach said during that search, police found a clip-seal bag containing 10g of cannabis and a water pipe on a table in the lounge room.

The court heard that Walker had a two-page criminal history.

Solicitor Lachlan Robertson said Walker was currently not employed and he was receiving Centrelink benefits.

Mr Robertson said about 18 months ago, Walker was the victim of an assault where he was struck over the head with a Vodka bottle, and he had struggled with his physical and mental health since.

Mr Robertson said Walker had sought professional help for his issues and his criminal history was “limited.”

Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale fined Walker $600 and convictions were recorded.

Walker was the third person in recent weeks to face the Biloela court after drug raids at Monto.

On January 11, Christopher Thomas Mcduff, 46, pleaded guilty in Biloela Magistrates Court to producing cannabis and was fined $500 with no conviction recorded.

On the same day, Kyle Damian Voss, 26, pleaded guilty to producing and possessing cannabis, as well as possessing a drug utensil, and he was fined $850 with no conviction recorded.
