Rescue helicopters respond to crashes at Pasha and Coorada in Central Queensland
Two rescue helicopters responded to separate crashes across Central Queensland on Sunday afternoon, with one person in a critical condition. Here’s what we know.

Four people have been hurt in crashes across the Central Queensland on Sunday afternoon, with one person suffering critical injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman confirmed a rescue helicopter responded to Pasha, west of Moranbah, after a person suffered serious head injuries in a single vehicle crash.
He said the incident occurred on Pasha Road about 2.30pm and up to three people were being assessed by paramedics, including the person with head injuries who was in a critical condition.
A male in 20s is reported to have been thrown from the vehicle, suffering serious head injuries.
The man was transported in a critical condition to Moranbah Airport to rendezvous with a rescue helicopter.
The man was being treated at the airport just before 5pm.
Two other occupants of the vehicle are in a stable condition, one with a hand injury and the other with a head injury and neck pain.
A second rescue helicopter has been tasked to the area to help the two other occupants.
Meanwhile near Theodore, another helicopter responded to Coorada where a man had crashed his motorbike.
RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue was responding to the incident, described as a ‘sanctioned motorcycle event’, on Fitzroy Development Road.
The QAS spokesman confirmed a man in his 30s had suffered back and neck injuries in the crash and was in a stable condition.
He has since been flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
The annual Theodore Trail Ride is being held in the area this weekend, with events starting Saturday morning and the track closing on Sunday at 1pm.
