Razorback Rd at Moongan closed after B-double truck jackknifes

A busy road in Central Queensland was closed for just under four hours after a B-double truck jackknifed, blocking the thoroughfare, early this morning.

A road in the Rockhampton region was closed for just under four hours after a B-double truck jackknifed early Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the traffic incident on the Razorback Rd at Moongan near Mount Morgan just before 5.30am.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a B-double truck had jackknifed, causing a traffic hazard.

She said the Razorback Rd was blocked and that motorists could expect extended delays.

She said a tow truck had arrived on scene at 7.30am.

The road was cleared and reopened to traffic at 9.20am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said there were no patients that required medical assistance.
