Man flown to hospital after motorcycle crash on Tanti Rd at Eurimbula

A man has suffered a significant leg injury and been airlifted to hospital by a rescue helicopter after his motorcycle crashed into a tree, while another person has been injured in a separate car accident overnight. DETAILS.

A man has suffered a significant leg injury and been to hospital by a rescue helicopter after his motorcycle crash into a tree in the Gladstone region on Monday.

Queensland Ambulance Service were called to the crash on Tanti Rd, Eurimbula, at 3.08pm.

It is understood the man had crashed his motorcycle into a tree.

A QAS spokeswoman said the man had suffered a significant leg injury.

She said he was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Ambulance Service responded to a second crash in the Central Queensland region later that evening.

Paramedics responded to a single-vehicle rollover on the Leichhardt Highway at Wowan in the Banana Shire at 6.30pm.

A man in his 20s was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
