A man who made a “I know where you dogs live” threat to police has faced court for a string of offences.

Quentyn Raven Pinch, 21, pleaded guilty in Biloela Magistrates Court on October 12 to eight charges including public nuisance, obstructing police and drugs offences.

In relation to the public nuisance and obstruct police charges, police prosecutor Kelvin Boyd said about 8pm on May 8, 2021, Pinch was detained for another matter and taken to the Moura watch-house.

Mr Boyd said on arrival at the watch-house, Pinch stated directly to two police officers: “I know where you dogs live... wait until I get out.”

The court heard Pinch got into a scuffle with officers and had to be transitioned to the floor and handcuffed.

In relation to the drug offences, they involved Pinch possessing cannabis and drug utensils on March 22 this year.

Mr Boyd said police executed a search warrant at Pinch’s Moura residence.

During that search, police found about 2g of cannabis and a bong, Mr Boyd said.

A solicitor said Pinch was currently receiving Centrelink assistance and Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale noted that Pinch had “almost no criminal history” and this was his first time before court for drug offending.

Ms Beckinsale fined Pinch $1150 and she did not record a conviction.
