A woman who allegedly trafficked methamphetamines and marijuana while working as a “health and wellness adviser” at a private health insurance company will be sentenced next month.

Kylie Maree Hatfield’s matters were mentioned in the Supreme Court again on October 21 when defence lawyer Nick Crawford advised that Ms Hatfield would be entering pleas of guilty to her charges at the next court date and asked for a sentence date.

Mr Crawford said his client recently had an urgent biopsy on a large lump and hoped to have the results by the sentence date.

Ms Hatfield’s sentence was scheduled for November 7.

The 41-year-old was charged in October 2023 with 72 counts of supplying drugs – eight which allegedly took place while she was working at Medibank in Stockland Rockhampton.

She is charged with one count of trafficking drugs between July 31, 2022 and October 4, 2023; along with one of possessing more than two grams of a schedule one drug, three counts of possessing a dangerous drug, one of supplying a drug to a minor, one of possessing anything used in a crime and one of possessing anything for the use in a crime.

The supply charges were upgraded to the trafficking charge when her charges were presented in the Supreme Court in August.

Ms Hatfield was granted bail in the Brisbane Supreme Court bail in December 2023.
