A driver suffering a medical incident is believed to have caused a Jeep Gladiator to smash into a rock wall on a busy stretch of road at the Capricorn Coast, police say.
The vehicle crashed into the wall on the Scenic Highway at Yeppoon about 7.40pm last Thursday.
On Friday the damaged blue Jeep Gladiator was highly visible to passing traffic at the Rosslyn end of Lammermoor Beach with tape and witches hats around it.
On Monday, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the Jeep had veered off the road and hit the rock wall.
She said the driver and sole occupant, a 55-year-old man, sustained minor physical injuries and was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service.
