A man has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover on a Central Queensland highway west of Moranbah on Thursday.

Emergency services responded to reports of the crash on Gregory Developmental Road, Frankfield, at 1.20pm.

According to a Queensland Police Service spokesman, the vehicle was travelling southbound on the road when it rolled.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the single occupant, believed to be a man in his 20s, was transported to Clermont Hospital with minor injuries.

Initial reports indicated the vehicle had rolled on its roof and that the man was trapped inside, however, it is understood the man was out of the vehicle when emergency services arrived on scene.

It is understood traffic was not affected by the crash.
