Three Queensland Fire Department crews responded to reports of a potential hazardous chemical spill in Gracemere today.
A QFD spokeswoman said the crews arrived a Capricorn St business at 7.36am to investigate a spill involving an unknown white powder.
She said crews worked with the department’s scientific team to ultimately identify the substance as non-toxic.
The crews were still on scene at 11.05am as they prepared to finalise the operation.
Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Police Service crews were also in attendance with police blocking off a portion of the street.
No injuries were reported.
