Emergency services rescue man from vehicle after crash

Firefighters have cut a man from his car after he crashed into a barrier on Yeppoon Road.

A man has been rescued from his car after he crashed into a barrier on Yeppoon Road.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the man in his 50s crashed his car into a guard rail, partially blocking Yeppoon Road.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man received minor injuries in the crash and was awaiting transport to Rockhampton Hospital.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said firefighters were cutting the man out of the car by removing the door and the B pillar.
