Police have declared a crime scene after a vehicle burst into flames at a rural Queensland town, damaging a nearby house.

Police have declared a crime scene after a vehicle burst into flames at a rural town west of Rockhampton early Tuesday morning, damaging a nearby house.
Emergency services responded to reports of the vehicle fire on Cecil St, Kabra, about 3.45am.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three crews attended and that the vehicle was “well alight” when they arrived on scene.
The spokesman said the vehicle was close to a house and that crews had to protect that nearby home as it was exposed to the fire.
He said the fire was quickly contained within a few minutes and was extinguished at 4.10am.
He said everyone was out of the house and that the home sustained some damage to the wall.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said a crime scene was declared and that investigations were ongoing into the cause of the vehicle fire.
The spokesman said two people were treated by Queensland Ambulance Service and were assisting police with inquiries.
According to QAS, no one was injured.
