An ex-army soldier has fronted a Central Queensland courtroom sporting a mullet, moustache, red t-shirt, blue board shorts and thongs as NSW Police applied to take him into custody.
Carlos Dean Nykolyn, 21, sat in the dock in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning as the service applied to extradite him for five outstanding warrants.
He did not oppose the extradition order.
Magistrate Cameron Press ordered Mr Nykolyn placed into custody of two NSW police officers who were in the back of the courtroom ready to escort him to Newcastle to appear in the Newcastle Magistrates Court on June 19.
It is believed among the charges Mr Nykolyn faces in New South Wales is a charge of break and enter.
