Months earlier, Jealous stole a car on Christmas Day in 2019 and drove it until January 7, 2020, before being busted when he parked it outside Rockhampton Courthouse.

He pleaded guilty on December 13 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court to one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one of possessing a stolen debit card and one of a breaching bail.

Police prosecutor Clancy Fox said the stolen vehicle was found outside the Rockhampton courthouse with false stolen plates attached.

He said later that month, Jealous was in the watch house for another matter when he was found in possession of a stolen bank card.

The court heard Jealous had been sentenced in Gladstone Magistrates Court for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle which occurred about the same time as these offences.
