Blackwater man allegedly groomed child over three years, charged with indecent treatment
Detectives have seized the devices of a CQ man who allegedly engaged in a sexual act with a teen online after a long period of grooming.

Detectives have charged a Central Queensland man for allegedly grooming an underage teen boy over three years before engaging in an online sexual act.
The 32-year-old man from Blackwater made an application for bail in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning after being charged.
Graham Noel Crane was charged following extensive investigations into the alleged grooming of a child online between 2021 and 2024.
Policewill allege he used the internet to groom a 14-year-old boy before engaging in an online sexual act.
The matter was reported to police in August 2024, sparking extensive investigations that culminated with detectives raiding a Blackwater property on February 18.
While executing a search warrant police seized a number of devices and Mr Crane was taken into custody.
He is charged with one count each of using the internet to procure children under 16, grooming child under 16 years, indecent treatment of children under 16 years and indecent act.
He was granted bail in court this morning and his matters were adjourned to May 7.
Investigations are ongoing.
