Person in custody after gunshots fired in The Caves
One person is in custody and an investigation is underway after multiple gunshots were reported in a rural suburb in the Rockhampton region.

A person is in custody after police received reports that gunshots were fired in a rural suburb on the outskirts of Rockhampton on Wednesday night.
Police were called to a disturbance on Gunder Road, The Caves, at approximately 6pm.
Early police investigations lead them to suspect one person fired shots during the incident however, according to a spokesperson, they were not directed at any persons.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed it did not attend and it is understood no persons were injured.
One person is now in custody and investigations are ongoing.
No charges have been laid.
