A man has been transported to hospital following a truck rollover on the Bruce Highway, north of Rockhampton.

Emergency services were called to the crash north of Yaamba at 6.12am.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said two fire crews attended the scene and reported the truck to be on its side with no persons entrapped.

According to Queensland Ambulance Service, paramedics assessed two patients in stable conditions at the scene.

Paramedics transported a man to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with back pain.

Lanes were reduced on the Bruce Highway, however, according to the Department of Transport and Main Roads, the highway reopened about 9.35am.

It is understood the truck, believed to be a B-double, was carrying bananas and empty pallets.
