A video of a Kelpie astride a lawnmower while his owner mows the yard of a Rockhampton home is warming the hearts of Central Queenslanders.
The footage showing a dog is a man’s best friend was taken in the suburb of Wandal by local woman, Lesley Jayne, on one of the pair’s regular mowing sessions.
“I get a smile everytime I see this dog loving the Sunday mowing job!” Lesley posted with the video on Facebook.
The video has garnered more than 2600 responses, 220 comments and 203 shares, with many stating that the footage had made their day.
“Nothing more Aussie than mowing your lawn with your pluggers on and your kelpie on your mower,” Courtney Flanagan posted.
It has even caught the attention of the Queensland Police Service, posting “Paw-powered propulsion”.
