Book Week hit schools around Queensland and there was been no shortage of creativity with costumes across the Rockhampton region this year.
We put a call out for Book Week photos and were inundated with incredible dress ups of children, and some educators, celebrating their favourite literature.
Reading is Magic was the theme for Book Week 2024 and students have clearly been inspired to come up with some magical costumes, from superheroes, wizards to unicorns.
Voting closed on Monday, August 26.
There was a tie for third and second place, which went to Aveya dressed as Sweet Unicorn and Ava dressed as the Encanto Magical Madrigal House.
First place went to Blake Kenny from Dysart State School who was dressed as Winner Winner Bin Chicken Dinner.
