Truck, two car accident closes Norman Road, North Rockhampton
Paramedics have checked five passengers involved in a truck and two car crash that has closed a busy thoroughfare in Rockhampton’s northern suburbs.

Emergency crews have raced to a multi-vehicle crash in Rockhampton’s northern suburbs.
Crews were called to the incident between a truck and two cars on Norman Rd, at Norman Gardens about 10.50am.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said Norman Rd was blocked and police were conducting traffic control in the area.

Two Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews arrived on scene just after 11am.
A QFES spokeswoman said there were no entrapments and firefighters were working to make the scene safe.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics assessed five people on scene.
She said two people were taken to Rockhampton Hospital in stable conditions with minor injuries and the other three did not require hospitalisation.
At 11.30am a QPS spokeswoman said the vehicles involved were in the process of being towed.
The road has since reopened.
