Firefighters raced into action after a small van was reported as “fully involved in flames” in Blackwater overnight.
Emergency services were called to the vehicle fire on Eucalyptus St at 12.18am on Thursday.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the vehicle was a “small van fully involved in flames”.
He said one crew attended the scene and extinguished the fire by 12.40am.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Police Service said the fire was not suspicious.
Queensland Ambulance Service stated no injuries were reported at the scene.
This vehicle fire follows a small van was “fully engulfed in flames” in North Rockhampton suburb Koongal early Tuesday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the van had allegedly been stolen from a Chappell St business on June 3 before being left abandoned, unoccupied and set alight.
Police investigations were ongoing.
