Assault at school, police chase teen in Nth Rocky

UPDATE 5PM: Queensland Police have confirmed a school-based officer was injured in an alleged assault at North Rockhampton State High School on Wednesday afternoon.
They said the officer suffered minor abrasions and a suspected broken finger.
It is unknown whether the youth allegedly responsible has been taken into custody.
INITIAL 2PM: Police are searching the streets around North Rockhampton State High School for a shirtless juvenile in black shorts.
It is alleged he assaulted a school-based police officer.
The teen left the scene on foot in the direction of Dean St.
