A warrant has been issued for a Central Queensland woman facing 21 fraud charges.

Jade Elizabeth Riddle, 29, failed to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 22.

She is facing charges including 21 counts of fraud - dishonestly make off without paying, and one count of failing to appear in court.

This does not mean the charges against her have been proven.

In court on Tuesday, Magistrate Mary Buchanan noted there was warrant lying on the file for Ms Riddle, her name was called three times and she did not appear, and she had also not made any contact with the court on July 22.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Pepi Gangemi sought a warrant.

Magistrate Buchanan released the warrant to apprehend Ms Riddle and bring her before the court to be dealt with.
