Tributes have flowed through for a 36-year-old Central Queensland man after his fatal Bruce Highway car crash.

Tributes have flown for 36-year-old Christopher Donnollan after he passed away in a tragic car accident on February 10.
Former co-workers offered a written remembrance of ‘Speedy’, who was a resident of Norman Gardens at the time of his death.
“Chris was a big part of our lives and to everyone he came in contact with inside and outside of work at Ace Exhaust Centre.”
“Watching Chris grow from a boy into the wonderful and thoughtful man he became.”

The beloved exhaust fitter passed away on February 10 following a tragic car accident on the Bruce Highway.
Debbie Sleep from Ace Exhaust Centre said he was employed “on and off” for 15 to 20 years, with the company itself celebrating its 30th birthday in October.
“As an employee, friend and part of our family he will be greatly missed.”

Christopher’s loved ones also expressed their condolences on social media.
“RIP Speedy, you will be missed [from] Bob & Gail,” said Gail McIntyre.
“How devastating, so young,” said Heather O’Connor.
Christopher’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 26 February 2025 at the East Chapel of the Rockhampton Crematorium commencing from 10.00am.
35 lives have been lost on Queensland roads so far in 2025.
